    Downhill
    I am sorry to say that since my last review, Pappas Parkville has gone way downhill. There’s new management, which explains the drop. First of all they don’t seem to care what their customers think. The tables are way too close together, so close, that the Weight staff can’t even get between without sticking their butts into somebody else’s face. Also, God forbid somebody at the next table is coughing and sneezing. Prepare to be sick after that. Crabcakes: they have definitely gone downhill. Pappas used to be my favorite place to get crabcakes. Well, no more. They’re mostly bread, with crab filler. And you paid the nose for them. I have pointed it out to my waiters, who brought it up. I’m sure to management. But management doesn’t seem to care. We usually go there once a week but now I’m looking for a new place or cooking at home. We’ve been going there 20 years or more, and you can tell the wait staff is unhappy., Do yourself a favor and find another place to eat. I’m so sad to See this happened to a great restaurant under Mr. Pappas. Now that he’s out of the picture, It looks like they just wanna squeeze every last time out of the place before it goes under. And mark my words, I give this place a year, maybe and that’ll be it.

    Quality of food is slowly going down.
    Was just at Pappas yesterday and was kind of disappointed. I order a small garden salad and it was sparse with lettuce being the main ingredient. Had three halves of some grape tomato and when I asked for more tomatoes the waiter brought me a small cup full of croutons and on the bottom were three grape tomatoes! My bbq wings were fried so hard that I could barely chew them. We had to ask for rolls and butter!! I spent $60 and ended up giving my food away! We come here often and everyone agreed that the quality is going down.

    Terrible Birthday Dinner Experience
    I made reservations for my wife and I for her birthday 2/23 and I have to say, what a huge disappointment! Service was awful…waiter was slow and very inattentive. Crab cakes were bland and fishy, baked potatoes were lukewarm if that. Filet, while slightly undercooked was tender and tasty. Coleslaw and beers were the highlight of the dinner. Rolls and drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Cheesecake to go…need a microscope to find in the containers. At the end of the day, I paid the check, still gave a generous tip to an undeserving server and will think twice if I ever want to give them another try. FYI…asked for Steve, but was conveniently told he was not there. I have my doubts, but honestly just wanted to leave.

    Finger in my soup??
    This is my first time getting food from Pappas carryout. I got a lake trout sandwich, which was very good and crab soup. I can not consume meat because it makes me sick? So seafood and vegan options is all that I can eat. So I'm eating crab soup ans what do I find...a thick fleshy piece of something. It looks like a finger was cut off and dropped in the soup. I spoke to a supervisor the next day who deeply apologized. He said it could be beef because Pappas uses beef bones to flavor the soup (that should be advertised for those of us who aren't meat eaters) and then he offered me free soup! Lol no thanks. He said he'd give the manager my message and someone would call me. No phone call. I want to turn it over to the police because it has the dimples that humans have..yuck! On top of everything I was charged twice. Check your receipt and your soup!!

    Just no
    I have never ordered from this place without there being some problem.. Their hours of operation change daily, and they are often out of items completely. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

    TERRIBLE SERVICE
    My daughter and I had reservations for dinner on a Saturday evening. After we were seated, we waited ... and waited ... and waited for someone to come to our table. After 15 minutes, I had had enough. I asked to speak with the manager, who apologized and said that our waitress was "ready now." Well, we were ready, too - to leave. Come to Pappas if you can tolerate the worst service ever.

    Horrible experience
    I went to Pappas ( Taylor Ave) the main restaurant carry out around 8:00pm. I ordered a Seafood Alfredo pasta meal. It was not good at all. The young people waiting on me were not very welcoming and poor customer service. It was like someone took 5 shrimp a few scallops and put them in pasta that was undercooked and sauce with no flavor, horrible for what I paid. I tasted a great deal better at a lesser rated restaurant. Had to leave this review. Will not return. Horrible. I keep using this word because I’ve been here before and it use to be better and when I pay for food at a restaurant and the food and customer service is bad I feel like I was robbed. Also when I got the food home, the sauce was all over the bottom of the bag. No attention to detail. Never again.

    What happened!??!
    2 xs in past month..Horrible experience, 2nd time food was not edible.. dried out crab cakes melted what I think was to be triple chocolate cake. We were told to get. Mistake.. baked potatoes??? Won't even get into the shriveled up presentation and salads?? Oh my goodness..what happened??? The reputation is ruined. I will drive to kocos every Friday, tried to give pappas a try..

    Some of the worst food and service received at a full service restaurant. When you order food and then they read it back yet still get it wrong ! Either you need to retrain your employees or buy them hearing aids.
